Robert L. Souser

Mr. Robert L. Souser, age 68, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 11, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born in Muskegon on September 4, 1939 to Milton and Helen (Sandman) Souser and had been a life resident. Robert had been employed by Howmet Corporation for 37 years before retiring in 2001. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed taking pictures, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by 3 children, Kim Smith, Albie Resterhouse and Stacey (Phill) Hoeker; 5 grandchildren, Shelby, Chad, Jamie, Mitchell and Marissa; 3 brothers, Richard (JoAnn) Souser, Wayne (Sherry) Souser and Russell (Sharon) Souser and 1 sister, Arlene Leonard. He was preceded in death by his parents; Infant sister, Virginia Souser and brother-in-law, Jim Leonard. SERVICES will be 11AM Thursday at Oak Crest Church of God with Rev. Brad LaBreyere officiating. VISITATION will be from 6-8PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 INTERMENT will be in Restlawn Cemetery.
