Robert Allen Sietsema, age 92, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 4, 1931, to Alfred & Nell (Beck) Sietsema and honorably served his country in the US Army. He married the former Grace Kepford on March 26, 1954. Robert invested his time and energy into his successful business, Sietsema Floor Covering, where he showcased his exceptional skills as a flooring specialist. As a self-employed entrepreneur, he tirelessly served the Muskegon area for many years. Outside of work, Robert had many passions and interests that brought him joy. As an avid sports fan, he was a devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers and held season tickets for Muskegon Big Red Football. In his spare time, he would embark on woodworking projects, crafting beautiful wooden toys for his grandchildren, reading about history, and working in his garden. Additionally, he took great pleasure in savoring the taste of Rhubarb Pie and collecting a vast array of milk bottles. The impact that Robert made on the lives of those around him will never be forgotten.

SURVIVORS

Sons, Clayton (Jill) Sietsema, Paul (Lori) Sietsema, Glen (Donna) Sietsema; daughter, Peggy Jo Lombardi; 5 grand children; 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace; parents; granddaughter, Becky; brother, Joel (Joanie) Sietsema; sister, Betty Anne Hanson.

Saturday, September 9, 2023, 11:00 AM at Clock Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Shady officiating and visitation one hour prior. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Garden.
