Robert H. Shatney

Mr. Robert Harry Shatney, age 78, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019. He was born in Muskegon, MI on September 14, 1940 to Harry & Dorothy (Dertein) Shatney. He married the former Judy Falkowski on July 7, 1962. Mr. Shatney had been employed as a Packaging Engineer for Dow Chemical & American Can until retiring. Robert attended St. Frances DeSales Catholic Church, was a lifetime member of the Muskegon Yacht Club, enjoyed skiing in the winter and sailing in the summer. Winter was spent at the Palm Villas in Venice Florida. SURVIVORS Wife, Judy; children, Jeanette (Dan) Colella of Grand Haven, Craig (Ginger) Shatney of Milford, Kristin (Steve) Slawson of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Nicholas (Haley Lambert) Shatney, Bailey Colella, Kirbey Colella, Joseph Shatney, Jack Slawson, Katherine Shatney, Chloe Slawson; sister, Patricia (Bob) Baker of Spring Lake.
