SCOTT, MR. ROBERT F. Norton Shores Mr. Robert F. Scott, age 85, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005. He was born in St. Johns, MI on February 18, 1920 to Robert & Maude Scott & married the former Nancy Corbin on October 9, 1943 in Hart, Michigan. He attended High School in St. Johns, MI. Mr. Scott received is AB degree from Albion College in 1942 and a MA Degree from Northwestern University in 1947. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Scott was a Personnel Administrator at two of the U.S. Gypsum Corp. Plants from 1947 - 1951. He was an Employee Relations Manager at Shaw Walker from 1952 - 1961. He was an Administrator of Muskegon County Medical Care Facility Brookhaven from 1961-1981. Mr. Scott was past President of Muskegon Foreman's Club, Muskegon Manufactures Assn. Safety Managers, Michigan County Med. Care Facilities Admin., Muskegon County Council on Aging, Muskegon Torch Club, Muskegon Lions Club, Past District Governor of Michigan Lions, Past Chairman of North Muskegon Planning Commission & Past Board Member of Welcome Home For The Blind. He was presently Board Member of Muskegon Speech & Hearing Center. He retired in 1981 & spent winters in Panama City Beach, Florida. SURVIVORS Wife, Nancy; 2 nieces, Cindy John DeBiak of Lowell, MI & Connie Caruso of Grand Rapids, MI; several great nieces & nephews. MEMORIAL SERVICE Monday, April 18, 2005, 11:00 AM at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Randall R. Hansen officiating. MEMORIAL: Michigan Lions Trust Fund. Clock - Muskegon
