Mr. Robert Albert Schoenmaker, age 76, died Thursday, November 15, 2007. He was born in Muskegon Heights, MI on March 8, 1931 to George & Hattie (DeCheney) Schoenmaker & married the former Patricia Hodges on May 21, 1955. Mr. Schoenmaker served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a machinist at Muskegon Piston ring for 38 years until retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church & enjoyed camping. SURVIVORS Wife, Patricia; 1 son, Daniel Robert Schoenmaker of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Vicky Lynne (Roger Smith) Brannam of Bitely, MI; 1 granddaughter, Courtney Lynne Brannam; 3 sisters, Betty Hall of Muskegon, Phyllis (Ron) Hartman of Muskegon & Shirley (Denny) Lohman of Whitehall, MI & 1 sister-in-law, Clara Schoenmaker. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Martin & George. MEMORIAL VISITATION Friday, 7-9 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. There will be no services. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice.
