Robert G. Patterson

Mr. Robert G. Patterson, age 72, died Thursday, February 28, 2008. He was born in Conklin, MI on October 3, 1935 to Gerald Russell & Dorothy (Pendell) Patterson & married the former Barbara E. Modrow Borstler on February 16, 1985. Mr. Patterson graduated from Whitehall High School in 1953 & served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a machinist at Bekaert Wire Corp until retiring. He was a member of Muskegon Moose Lodge & Muskegon Eagles. SURVIVORS Wife, Barbara; 6 sons, Michael (Pam) Patterson, Greg Patterson, James (Carrie) Patterson, Michael Borstler, Steven (Julie) Borstler & John Borstler; 3 daughters, Sherry Walker, Brenda (Ronald) Hilliard & Chris Patterson; 13 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters; mother, Dorothy Patterson; 2 brothers, Thomas (Eileen) Patterson & Gerald (Kristie) Patterson, Jr. SERVICE A Celebration of Mr. Patterson life will be held at a later date. MEMORIAL: Ronald McDonald House in honor of his grandson, Hunter's death.
