OOSTING, MR. ROBERT FRANCIS Fruitport, MI Mr. Robert F. Oosting, age 82, died Friday, January 10, 2003. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 17, 1920 to Frank & Mattie Flickema Oosting & married the former Bernice Dick on June 6, 1941 in Muskegon, MI. Mr. Oosting had been employed as a Tool & Die Maker at Lyons until retiring. He was a member of Fruitport Christian Reformed Church. He liked to fish & when he was young he was a pitcher for the Muskegon Baseball League. SURVIVORS 1 sister, Esther Schuur of Muskegon, MI; 1 niece, Mary Ann Schuur of Livonia, MI; 3 nephews, David Schuur of IL, Allan Oosting of Spring Lake, MI & David Oosting of Muskegon, MI; special friends, Harvey Koetje & Mark Taylor. He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice in July of 1999. SERVICE Monday, January 13, 2003, 11:00 AM at Fruitport Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Jerry Postema officiating.
