Robert J. Nauta

NAUTA , MR. ROBERT, J Grand Haven Mr. Robert "Bob" J. Nauta, age 67, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at his home. He was born in Grand Haven, MI on July 3, 1937 to Andrew and Cecelia Heimler Nauta and married the former Judy Comeau on August 14, 1965. Mr. Nauta had been a Tug Boat Captain for Bultema Dock and Dredge and he was a retired Research Vessel Captain from The University of Michigan. SURVIVORS Wife, Judy; sister, Trudy Tom Puleo of Grand Haven; 11 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews; sister in law, Fran Dan Wright and Jean Rog Elwell both of Muskegon, MI. Mr. Nauta was preceded in death by his parents and 2 nephews. SERVICE 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 25, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church - Spring Lake with Fr. Anthony Vainavicz officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 5:00-8:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home. Memorials : Hospice of North Ottawa Community or St. Mary's Building Fund.
