MASON, JR ROBERT J. Muskegon Mr. Robert J. Mason, Jr., age 86, died Monday, November 7, 2005. He was born in Muskegon on November 17, 1918 to Robert J. Sr. & Delora R. Houle Mason & married the former Carol Fales on January 31, 1967. Mr. Mason had been employed as a Vice President of Finance at SPX for 37 years until retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and past board member of many organizations including SPX, Comerica Bank-Hackley, Nugent Sand, United Way of Muskegon County - General Campaign Chairman 1965, Muskegon Country Club, Muskegon Chamber of Commerce, Century Club - President & Goodwill Industries. He was on the advisory board of Mercy Hospital. SURVIVORS Wife of 38 years, Carol; 2 daughters, Marcia Dwyer of Fruitport, MI & Eileen Thomas Wilhelm of Bloomfield Hills, MI; 3 grandchildren, Dr. Conor Kristin Dwyer, Colin & Kathleen Wilhelm; 2 brothers, James Rejane Mason of CA & Thomas Mason of Northbrook, IL. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen Mason in 1965 & by his brother, Richard Mason in 1964. FUNERAL MASS Thursday, November 10, 2005, 2:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church - Muskegon with Fr. Ernest Bernott officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Robert J. & Carol F.
