Robert Lee Johnson

Johnson, Mr. Robert Lee North Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Robert Lee Johnson, age 83, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020. He was born in Muskegon, MI on June 2, 1937 to Elmer & Kathleen (Elwell) Johnson and served his country in the US National Guard during the Vietnam Era. He married the former Marcia Vickers on August 9, 1963. Mr. Johnson worked at Studio 5 & then he owned and operated Johnson Advertising. After retirement, Bob and Marcia spent many years volunteering at MAP supper house, and were also very involved in Community United Methodist Church.In more recent years you could find Bob at his favorite restaurant Carmen's in downtown Muskegon. He enjoyed hand ball for over 50 years playing at the YMCA. He also enjoyed sailing, fishing, books, traveling, walking, cross-country skiing and staying very active. SURVIVORS Children, Todd Johnson, Robin (Steve) Schillaci & Vicki (Steve) Olson; 6 grandchildren, Kaila Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Emily (Zachary) Norwood, Caroline Schillaci, Madeline Schillaci & Lynnea Olson; 1 great grandson, Greyson Norwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marcia on March 13, 2016 & daughter-in-law, Cindy "Cynthia" Johnson on September 8, 2017.
