HULKA,MR. ROBERT C. Fruitport Township Mr. Robert C. Hulka, age 61, died Thursday, September 27, 2001. He was born in Muskegon, MI on October 8, 1939 to John & Cleona Ritz Hulka & married the former Carol Witkowski in Grand Haven, MI on August 21, 1965. Mr. Hulka was a 1959 graduate of Ravenna High School & was a Veteran having served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He had worked as a self-employed Truck Driver. Bob was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church & had formerly served as a Muskegon County Commissioner. He enjoyed car racing, gardening, hunting & had a love of animals. SURVIVORS Wife, Carol; his mother, Cleona Hulka of Muskegon; 1 sister, Marilyn Eugene Roltsch Barney of Muskegon; 1 brother, Martin ''Marty'' Rosemary Hulka of Muskegon; sister-in-law, Betty Hulka of Muskegon; Carol's brothers & sisters-in-law, Mel Rosalie Rouwhorst of Grand Haven, Ron Eve Boston of Muskegon, Desiree Witkowski of CA & Tony Christina Martin of AZ; many nieces, nephews as well as his cat, Roscoe & his dog, Abby. He was preceded in death by his father, John Hulka & by a brother, John Hulka Jr. MEMORIAL SERVICE Tuesday, October 2, 2001, 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Phil Witkowski officiating. VISITATION Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home with a Rosary service to be held at 2:00 PM.
