Robert Hogston

Mr. Robert E. Hogston, age 86, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007. He was born in Muskegon Heights, MI on December 27, 1920 to Dominic Edward & Pearl Lucintha (Stamp) Hogston. Robert married the former Eleanor Mae Schutterlee on August 21, 1948 and she preceded him in death on May 6, 2000. He then married the former Ruth (Borgeson) Wagner on November 24, 2001. Mr. Hogston had been employed as a guidance counselor at Trenton Public Schools. He attended Forest Park Covenant Church and was a member of the American Legion and VFW #3195. SURVIVORS Wife, Ruth; 3 sons, Jack (Karin) Hogston of Bellview, Nebraska, Robert A. Hogston of Southfield, MI, Bruce (Sherie) Hogston of Peoria, AZ; 2 daughters, Pamela Goodman of Austin, TX, Patricia Robinson of Toledo, OH; 3 step-daughters, Marcia (Tim) Dobb, Mary (Jim) Moyes & Nancy (Douglas) Alexander; 8 grandchildren, Adam & Katie Hogston, Kelly Lehman, Chelsea Robinson, Nicole Goodman, Clare Hogston, Victoria & Thomas Hogston; 1 great-granddaughter, Alexis Hogston; 2 sisters, Maxine Workman, Doris (Richard) Cornell both of Norton Shores. SERVICE Friday, July 13, 2007, 3:00 PM at Forest Park Covenant Church with Rev. Paul Bengtson officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 1 hour prior to the service at Forest Park Covenant Church. MEMORIAL: Forest Park Covenant Church, Hackley VNS Hospice or Poppen Hospice House.
