Robert Hiles

Mr. Robert "Bob" G. Hiles, age 66, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013. He was born in Muskegon, MI on June 17, 1947 to Robert & Geraldine (Shannon) Hiles and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He married the former Constance Falzone and had been Captain of Police for the City of Muskegon for 31 years until retiring in 2001. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He was an avid hunter & fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors and books. But foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Son, Tom Hiles of Muskegon; daughters, Melissa Hiles of Northport MI, Rebecca (Mark) Kohler of Suttons Bay, Brandie MacKay of Muskegon; granddaughter, Marley Kohler; sister, Michelle (Robert) Berghuis of Schoolcraft MI; several nieces and nephew; beloved dog "Libby". He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie. SERVICE Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Carlos Ramos officiating.
