Robert E. Hammer

HAMMER, MR. ROBERT E. Spring Lake, MI Mr. Robert E. Hammer, age 81, died Thursday, October 16, 2003. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on June 23, 1922 to Albert & Dora Mae White Hammer and married the former Marcia Jane Beatty on June 21, 1946. Mr. Hammer had been employed as an Executive Vice President at Campbell, Wyant and Cannon for 25 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Muskegon Rotary Club, Muskegon Country Club, SCORE, and the Community Leadership Academy. Robert served his country in the US Army during WW II in the China, Burma, India Theatre. SURVIVORS Wife, Marcia ''Jane''; 3 daughters, Lucy Gauvin of Ann Arbor, Laura Hammer of North Muskegon and Melinda ''Missy'' Bud Johnson of Greenbrier, AR; 6 grandchildren. SERVICE A celebration of Robert's life will be held Saturday, October 18, 2003, 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Fr. Joe Ashby officiating.
