Robert Morris Gill

Gill, Mr. Robert Morris Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Robert Morris Gill, age 84, passed away Friday, May 20, 2022. Mr. Gill was a spiritual man who loved his bible, a good sermon and having a prayer said for him. He was born in West Point, MS on September 2, 1937 to Ed & Elvera (Wilson). Robert moved to Muskegon as a younger child living with family, several adult foster care homes, assisted living and lastly at SKLD Muskegon as his health & physical disabilities began to decline. He retired from Goodwill Industries in September of 2008 where he enjoyed spending time with everyone and earning his own money. Robert always felt he had learned everything he needed to know. He enjoyed his radio, attending church services & going for rides. He loved having people visit with him which were few & far between. One wish he always had was for his family & church to visit him. He was a friendly person and appreciative of all he had. He was a simple man and a happy man as long as his supply of peppermints and pork skins never ran out. He would always tell his long time friend, Susan Griswold how blessed he was to have her in his life and how he wouldn't be here without her support.
