DUKE, MR. ROBERT E. Muskegon, MI Mr. Robert E. Duke, age 82, died Friday, April 5, 2002. He was born in Grundy Center, IA on November 20, 1919 to Rex & Lela Payne Duke & married the former Rosella Hixon on September 12, 1942. Mr. Duke had been employed as a Millwright at Teledyne Continental Motors for 35 years until retiring in November of 1977. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening & enjoyed working on his tractor. SURVIVORS Wife, Rosella; 2 daughters, Judith John Giudice & Cindy Thomas Lau, both of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Dan Debbie Billings, Timothy Brenda Billings, Amy Rose Bengtson, Ashley Bengtson & Chad Bengtson; 2 great-grandchildren, Amanda Billings & Benjamin Billings; 1 sister, Norma George Sonenberg of China, MI; 1 brother, Harold Barbara Duke of St. Helen, MI. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred, Betty & Lorene & by a brother, Claude. SERVICE Tuesday, April 9, 2002, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. David Piell officiating.
