Robert C. Damm

D AMM, MR. ROBERT C. Muskegon Mr. Robert C. Damm, age 84, died Sunday, November 12, 2006. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 12, 1922 to Carl & Joyce (Farr) Damm. Bob graduated from Muskegon Heights High School and attended Uof M. He then served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was very active in the Port City Playhouse both directing and acting in many plays. He married the former Elsa Funkhouser on April 18, 1988. Bob was a partner in Pyle Pattern and was a longtime member and past President of Muskegon Country Club. Bob enjoyed golfing, sailing and card games with friends. SURVIVORS Wife, Elsa; son, Rob & Gloria Damm of San Diego, CA; daughter, Cathy (Jim) Lawie of Cadillac, MI; 2 step-sons, Eric Anderson of Denver, CO, Greg (Kim) Anderson; 5 grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Kristina, Lauran & Alaina; 1 great-granddaughter, Kara; brother, Tom (Mary) Damm of Hoover, AL; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlene & brother, Nelson. SERVICE A Remembrance Gathering will be held Friday, November 17, 2006, 2:00-4:00 PM at the Muskegon Country Club.
