Robert Steven Cole, age 82, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025. He was born in Takoma Park, MD on November 13, 1942 to Robert & Martha (Long) Cole and served his country in the US Navy. Steve married the former Anne Gross on June 20, 1987. He had been employed as a clerk at Roadway Express for 20 years until retiring. Steve and Anne lived in Ohio for 20 years before moving to Florida for 15 years and then returned to Anne's hometown of Muskegon 3 years ago. Steve liked tinkering around the house on various projects and he also enjoyed cooking. They enjoyed going on road trips out in the country and Steve also had a passion for lighthouses. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his loving Wife, Anne Cole; daughter Robin (Rob) Grooms and their children Robbie, Ryan & Carter; 2 sons, Rich Cole & Todd Cole; sister, Chris Cole; in-laws, Dave (Anita) Gross, John (Judy Leaman) Gross, Mark (Jen) Gross, Barb (Lloyd) Needleman; several nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by grandchildren, Kalli Grooms, Austin Cole; brother Frank Cole; in-laws Dan Gross, Mary Gross, Barbara Cole.
