Robert Cain

Mr. Robert Cain, age 78, died Monday, December 22, 2008. He was born in Dubuque, IA on September 1, 1930 to Harry & Ethel (Moench) Cain and served his country in the Wisconsin Air National Guard. Robert married the former Bertha (Holland) Potter on December 4, 1975. Mr. Cain had been employed as a Postal Carrier in Spring Lake until retiring in 1990. He attended Trinity Baptist Church and member of the Muskegon Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed living on the water and fishing. SURVIVORS Wife, Bertha; daughter, Karen (Michael) Loomis of FL; sons, Jerry Cain of FL, Russell (Sandra) Potter of White Cloud; grandchildren, Jeannette, David Roy, David Lee, Jared, Tony, C.J. Gabriel; 6 great grandsons; 1 great granddaughter; brother, William (Ruth) Cain of OH; sister-in-law, Kathryn Cain of Grand Haven; Aunt, Katherine Moench of IN; several nieces & nephews. Robert was preceded in death by brother, Orville Cain. SERVICE Saturday, December 27, 2008, 4 PM at Clock Chapel with Rev Scott Church officiating. Interment at East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery.
