Buikema, Mr. Robert John Muskegon, Michigan Mr. Robert John Buikema, age 68, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021. He was born in Muskegon, MI on March 7, 1953 to John & Virginia (Meyers) Buikema and married the former Joanne Sullivan on October 6, 1979. Mr. Buikema had been employed at Midland Grocery for over 25 years. Robert attended First Congregational Church and enjoyed golf, Alabama football, Big Red Football & Detroit Tigers. Bob was a family man that loved going to his granchildren's activities. SURVIVORS Wife, Joanne; children, Daphne (Joe) Young, Elizabeth (Kirsten) Buikema, & Rob Buikema; 6 grandchildren, Haddan, Connor, Marco, Addison, Emma & Emmett; mother-in-law, Phyllis Sullivan; sister, Shirley Buikema; brothers & sisters-in-law, Carol (David) Krentz, Coleen Sullivan, Margaret (Patrick) Tietze, Brian (Karyn) Sullivan & Larry Sullivan; aunt, Eleanor (Alfred) Paulsen; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
