Robert L. Bowden

Mr. Robert L. Bowden, age 74, passed away Friday, January 25, 2008 in Muskegon. He was born November 27, 1933 in Detroit, MI to Richard and May (Lampment) Bowden, and had resided in the area for the past 59 years. Mr. Bowden worked at CWC Textron until his retirement in 1993. He had a love for hunting and fishing. In 1953 he married the former Beulah Blankenship, and she survives him along with 3 children, Alice (George) Johnson, Robert (Karyl) Bowden, Tammy (Mike) Duell; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother, Les (Jane) Bowden; and sisters, Audrey Whipple and Bessie (Robert) Carlson. SERVICES will be 11 AM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with Rev. Ronald Amos officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
