Robert Allen Bersonnet

Robert Allen Bersonnet, 63, of Grand Haven passed away Saturday morning from burns sustained in a fire that ripped through his home Wednesday night and totally destroyed it. Bob was born in June, 1939 to William and Emelien Brinkert Bersonnet. Bob lived in this area all of his life. He was an avid reader and enjoyed living a very simple life. Bob was a honest man of gentle spirit, quite words, a big heart, and always interested in how you were and what you were doing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Bob leaves behind two sons Charles Julie Ocean Spring, Mississippi, Allen Julie, Fruitport, six grandchildren; Allen, Jessica, Aaron, Bradley, Tara, RyAnn, Echo, Cody, and Emelien, two brothers Fred Kathy Cherrette, West Olive, George MaryAnn Bersonnet, Logan Utah, two sisters Alice Ford, Greely, Colorado, Mary Howard VerBerkmoes of Grand Haven, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Memorial Services will be Thursday at 2:00 at the home of Lawrence & Debra Doran, 14247 Lincoln, Grand Haven luncheon to follow immediately at the Doran's.
