Roberson, Lee Dora

Lee Dora Roberson, age 71, peacefully went Home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2006 at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon. She was born on November 10, 1935 in Alexandria, LA to Mr. and Mrs. Matt Scott. She graduated from Alexandria High School. In December 1954 she united in holy matrimony to Marcell Roberson, to that union 3 boys and 1 girl were born. Lee Dora retired from Hackley Hospital in 1997 after 37 years of employment. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She was a faithful member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church well over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, and brother. She leaves to cherish her memory 4 children; Marcell Jr. (Mary) Arizona, Sharon (Minnesota), Michael (Tywana-special friend), Jeffrey (Marie) Muskegon. There are 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-laws, Rozell (Joe) Phillips, Doris Roberson, GeorgiaAnn Roberson; special friend Delia Nash and her family and a host of other relatives and friends including her Beulah Baptist Church Family. Services held Friday, December 8, 2006, 12noon at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 2601 Manz St., Muskegon Hts, MI. Reverend Eugene Cowan II, officiating. Viewing of the body is Thursday, December 7, 2006 from 12noon until 9pm at Toombs Funeral Home, 2108 Peck St., Muskegon Hts., MI.
