Ricky Gail Pierce

Ricky "Rick" Gail Pierce, 64 years old and a long time resident of Fruitport. He died peacefully on Tuesday November 22. Born September 9th 1958 to Russell Pierce and Edna McDowell. Rick is survived by his wife Toni Pierce ( Mrozinski ) Daughters Jessica Breitwisch , Angela Breitwisch , Sister Peggy(James) Kofahi from Ypsilanti, Brothers David Pierce and Russell Pierce from Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell Pierce and Edna Schwinn ( McDowell ) ; siblings Denise Pierce, James Pierce and Mike Pierce. Rick attended Fruitport High school most of the 4 years, but graduated from Muskegon High. While at Fruitport he was a active member of Upstagers. Rick always helped those in need, disabled, or underprivileged. He rooted for the underdog, he was a devout Lions fan. He listened to his beloved Detroit Tigers on the radio when they were not on TV. Rick worked most of his life in Plastic molding injection. He was passionate about music and loved the Beatles. He loved trivia which he was so good at, Jeopardy, playing chess, horseshoes, and of course being with family. Rick was happily married with his wife Toni Pierce (Mrozinski) for 16 years. He loved teaching the grandkids new things. His nephew Richard Pierce was also like a son to him. Rick's witty humor and love will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
