Ricky D Mears

Mr. Ricky Dean Mears, age 60, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017. He was born in Flint, Michigan on July 22, 1957, graduated from Prescott High School and married the former Deborah Beck on April 16, 1986. Mr. Mears had been employed in maintenance at Grand Transformers for 40 years until retiring in 2016. Ricky used to operate Hog Heaven Cycle and loved to hunt, fish and ride his Harley motorcycle. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife of 31 years, Deborah; son, Adam Mears of Grand Haven; daughters, Amber (Brian) Church of Grand Haven & Holly (Chris) Woonacott of Twin Lake; grandchildren, Hunter, Blake, Zander Jazmyn, Lillie & Malachi; siblings, Lonnie Mears, Dale Mears, Donny Gaines, Mona Mears, Claudia Mears & Darwin Gaines. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ron. SERVICE Saturday, August 19, 2017, 1:00 pm at the Clock Chapel - Grand Haven.
