Richter, Geraldine F.

Mrs. Geraldine F. Richter, age 75, passed away at a local hospital December 18, 2006, following a long illness. She was born February 12, 1931 in Malden, MO to Carl and Anna (Stinson) Horn and moved to Muskegon in 1950. She married John Russell in 1963 and he passed away in 1984. She later married Conrad Richter in Muskegon and he preceded her in death in 1992. Mrs. Richter was a member of Ravenna Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, fishing and camping. Mrs. Richter was employed at Hi-Ram in Coopersville until retiring in 1979. She is survived by 1 son, Michael (Cindy) Belt of Holt, MI; 2 daughters, Gwenn Hower (Leonard Rudholm) of North Muskegon and Julia (Randy) Ely of Ravenna; 2 sisters, Dorothiea L. VanderMolen of Muskegon and Zelpha (Carl) McCann of Indiana; 3 brothers, Harold (Sue) Medlin of Indiana, David (Maria) Medlin and Claude (Kathy) Medlin both of Missouri; 8 grandchildren, Michelle, Brian, John, Keith, Melissa, Lacey, Nichole & Brittni; 3 great-grandchildren, Branden, Brianna and Avery; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands and 3 children. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Wednesday 11 A.M. at Ravenna Free Methodist Church, 2620 S. Ravenna Rd., with Rev. Arthur M. Yates presiding. INTERMENT: Egelston Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the church would be appreciated.
