Richard Woirol

Mr. Richard Paul "Dick" Woirol, age 72, husband of Barbara, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 following a short battle with cancer. Richard was born to Cecil & Shirley (Binns) Woirol, on June 2, 1938 in Whitehall, MI. Richard was a graduate of Whitehall High School before joining the US Army and serving in Alaska as a radio operator from 1957 to 1963. He married his beloved wife, Barbara Ann Addicott in Muskegon on March 10, 1973. Mr. Woirol retired from UPS after 33 years of service. Richard was a loving husband and a wonderful father to his children and he adored his grandchildren. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and spending time with his friends at Classy Chassy. SURVIVORS Wife of 37 years, Barbara; 6 children, Rick, Lisa (Phil) LeMieux, Chip (Susanne) Heikkila, Paul (Storm), Jeff (Julie) and Angel; his 9 grandchildren, Rayne, Mekenna, Breezie, Ernie, Ryan, Erin, Bryton, Alex and Danielle; sister, Nancy and sister-in-law, Helen. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Joni and brother Jack. MEMORIAL GATHERING Monday, November 29, 2010, 1:00-4:00 PM at VFW Post 8846, 1061 Witham Road in Muskegon. As requested by Mr. Woirol, cremation has taken place.
