Richard Wierengo

Richard P. Wierengo, age 77, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 14, 1938 to Fredrick & Delphine (Newland) Wierengo and married the former Donna Chamberlain on May 19, 1956. Richard worked for Norge and Breneman Inc until retiring as an International Representative for the Carpenters and Joiners Union. He was a Golden Eagle member of the Muskegon Eagles Aerie 668. Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time at his home on the river with his family. He was an avid wood worker and carver. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Wife of 59 years, Donna; sons, Ricky (Tammie) Wierengo of Muskegon, Randy (Sandy) Wierengo of Muskegon; grandchildren, Chadick (Lacie) Wierengo, Tiffany (Brian Elmore) Wierengo, Jordan (Ashley) Wierengo, Sarah (Eric Emerson) Wierengo; great grandchildren, Tayvid, Camden, Lauran, Bryanna, Carter, Allie & Braylor; brothers, Fred (Mary) Wierengo, Robert (Ardyce) Wierengo, Charles (Irene) Wierengo. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia. SERVICE Per Richard's request, no services will be held.
