Wiegand, Sr. Mr. Richard Eugene Grand Haven Richard Eugene Wiegand Sr., age 87, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 21, 1933 to George & Elizabeth (Marvin) Wiegand and served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.. He married the former Barbara Kettler on June 5, 1955. Mr. Wiegand had been employed as a supervisor for Automatic Spring for over 35 years with over 50 years total until retiring. Richard attended McGraft Memorial Congregational Church, was a member of the Grand Haven American Legion, a Mason & Cub Scouts. Mr. Wiegand enjoyed collecting magazines, reading, bird watching, loved sports & was a Detroit fan, enjoyed politics and animals.. SURVIVORS Sons, Richard Wiegand Jr., Dennis Wiegand; grandchildren, Arin Wiegand, Jordan Wiegand, Trent Wiegand, Courtney (Eric) Arnold, Dennie (Lee) Daniels, Randi Wiegand; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Kaylie, Nathan, Hailey, Troy; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara on June 3, 2003; son, Daniel Courtney Wiegand on March 6, 1962; siblings, James Walker, Nancy Schmiege, David Wiegand.
