Richard Charles Parker, age 82, of Holton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

He was born on August 12, 1944, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Lloyd and Minnie (Fordham) Parker. On August 9, 1968, Richard married the love of his life, Lola Earl, and they shared 51 wonderful years together until her passing in 2020. He is now reunited with his beloved wife.

Richard was a hardworking man with a diverse career, having worked in pest control, at Whitehall Leather, as a nurse's aide, and most recently as a stocker at Walmart before his retirement. He and Lola were inseparable and built a life full of shared hobbies. They spent countless hours creating ceramics, tending to their garden, enjoying long Sunday drives with no destination in mind, and hunting for treasures at local yard sales. Their greatest joy was simply being together.

Richard will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his children, Amanda (Cynthia Cygeirt) Courier and Chris Parker; his brother, Randy Parker; eight grandchildren: Aireanna Courier, Kamerin (Hannah) Courier, Marissa Courier, Brian Parker, Kristina Parker, Brittany Parker, Dylan, and Morgan; and ten great-grandchildren: Harmony, Melody, Elijah, Abreille, Jaxson, Caroline, Owen, and Lilly, and two others.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lola; his parents; and his brothers, Jim and Gerald Parker.

In accordance with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date to inter his and Lola's remains together at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to Clock Funeral Home.
