Richard A. "Dick" Lampman

Mr. Richard A. "Dick" Lampman, age 67, died unexpectedly Monday evening, January 21, 2008, at Mercy Hospital. He was born May 28, 1940 in Fremont, MI to Alan & Maxine (Sharlow) Lampman and has resided in the Muskegon area most of his life. Dick had been employed at SPx for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed hunting, was a NASCAR fan and was loved by his family and many friends. SURVIVORS include his wife, Judy; 1 son, Mark (Karen) Lampman, 1 daughter, Dawn Cranston; 4 step-children, Sheri Leonard, Lisa (Brian) Eacker, Lori Field and Staci (Bill) Brown; 19 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and by his brother, Gerald (Mickey) Lampman. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11 AM Thursday at the Derezinski VFW Post # 7729 (6285 E. Apple Avenue). For a more lasting memorial you are asked to consider American Cancer Society.
