Richard "Dick" Paul Hotchkiss, 79, died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Bayshore Health Care Center in Duluth, MN. He was born October 13, 1928, in Ashby, MN to Frank and Helen Hotchkiss. Dick served in the 11th Airborne Corp. of the 101st Airborne Division during the Korean Conflict. On June 6, 1953 he married Betty Deater in Muskegon, MI. Dick was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, David and Bob; and three sisters, Louise Harp, Lorraine Oja, and Helen Korby. He is survived by his wife, Betty of Cromwell; children, Kim (Phil) Bush of Newaygo, MI, Sharon (Les) Houck of Cromwell, MN, David Hotchkiss of Nashville, IN, Richard Hotchkiss, Jr. of Cromwell, MN, Jamie (Dale) Palmer of Twin Lake, MI, Carla (Mark) Hyrns of White Cloud, MI, and Robin Hotchkiss (Chuck) Hill of Muskegon, MI; brother, Jim (Teake) Hotchkiss of Apache Junction, AZ; 25 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. An 11:00 AM memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Shiloh Tabernacle Fellowship, 460 E.Tyler RD, Muskegon, MI 49445.
