HAVEMAN, MR. RICHARD JOSEPH Grand Haven Mr. Richard J. Haveman, age 74, died Thursday, November 24, 2005. He was born in Lake City, MI on June 1, 1931 to Jacob & Rachael Christie Haveman. Mr. Haveman had served his country in the U.S. Marines, Marine Reserves, and the Army. He had been employed as a Supervisor at Eagle Ottawa Leather until retiring in the 1990's, and had also worked at Sportsman's Bar & Grill. He was a past member of the American Legion and had been involved with Golden Gloves in Grand Rapids. Mr. Haveman liked to garden & work outside. Survivors: 4 sisters, Lucielle Worrall of Falmouth, MI, Georgia Arlie Peterson of Lake City, MI, Adeline Richard Kitchen of Lake City, MI, Chrystal Brown of Grand Rapids, MI; many nieces & nephews; close friend & companion, J. Arlene Bennis of Grand Haven; extended family; her son, Barry Odessa Bennis & special grandchildren, Derek & Cassie Bennis. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gerald, Raymond; 2 brothers-in-law, Vern Worrall, Herschel Brown. As per his wishes, there will be no funeral services. Clock Funeral Home Muskegon
