Richard Gerritson, 91, went to be with his Savior on March 12, 2008. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday at First Reformed Church, Rock Valley. Visitation with his family present will be 6:30-8pm Monday at Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley. Rich was born January 17, 1917 at Rock Valley where he lived until 2005 when he moved to Michigan. He was active in prison ministries, the Rescue Mission, and nursing home Bible studies. Richard is survived by 2 daughters, Mona (Ed) DeWitt of Inwood, IA and Denise (John) VanBerkum of N. Muskegon, MI; 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter; 7 great-grand-children; 1 great-great-grand-daughter; a sister; and brother.
