Mr. Richard "Rick" Lee Freeman, age 68, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 10, 1947 to Lawrence & Nadeen (Fairfield) Freeman. Mr. Freeman served his country in the United States Navy retiring after 20 years as a Senior Chief Boiler Tech. Rick later became employed as a Boiler Operator for Hackley Hospital for 15 years until retiring in 2005. Mr. Freeman was a member of the Michigan Hot Rod Association and with his love for fishing, he was also a member of the White Lake Fishing Association. SURVIVORS Brother, Larry Freeman of Muskegon Heights; sister, Nancy (Charles Alexander) Freeman of Montague; niece, Jennifer Gleason, Kara Ottman; nephews, Martin Shalifoe II, Jacob Shalifoe, William Cook. VISITATION & SERVICE On Tuesday, March 22, 2016 there will be Visitation from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Military Honors being rendered at 7:30 pm under the auspices of Muskegon County Council of Veterans.
