Rick Douglas went fishing with our Lord on March 24, 2020. Rick came into this world as Richard Bruce Douglas he was the 7th child born to Elmer and Harriett (Hoover) Douglas on July 15,1943 in Detroit, Michigan SURVIVED by his loving wife Marsha (Visger) and their Children: Lillian (John) Gowell, Becky (Ray) Workman, and Bruce (Ashley) Douglas. 29 Grandchildren: Jon, Rebecca, Nick, Ashley, Kevin, Nene, Daniel, Miranda, Natasha, Sam, Emily, Conner, Ollie, Micki, Brandy, Cody, Kasey, Trey, Brooke, Al, Austin, Tamara, Austin, Korbin, Sebastian, Lincoln, and Kaura. 25 Great-Grandchildren: Harlow, Bayley, Danika, Eleisa, Alex, Ember, Johannah, Rebecca, Sativa, Felix, Katie, Christian, Able, Leo, Ezra, Avery, Kalie, Harrison, Baby Boy, Olivia, Christopher, Baby Girl, Carter. Siblings: Don (Barb) Douglas, Pauline (Tom) Liskey, Warren (Ina) Douglas, Earl Tietz and Mike Douglas. Also left behind are lots and lots of nieces and nephews, his childhood buddy Butch Wiegand, his snowmobile buddy Larry Hagner, and his fishing buddy Richard La Vanway. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Harriett Douglas, sisters Vivian VanDyke and Gloria TIetz,and his little brother Norm Visger. He loved telling Jokes, Fishing, Hunting, Snowmobiling, and Racing cars. He will be missed most for his caring nature and his great sense of humor. He loved life and being poppa to his own grand children or any child that came around. HE WAS POPPA. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
