Richard T. Carter

Mr. Richard T. Carter, age 74, died peacefully Monday, October 27, 2008. He was born on October 25, 1934 in Muskegon Heights, MI to Orville and Martha (Pietsch) Carter. Richard married Maxine Blanchette on October 30, 1954. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and retired from UPS. Survivors are his wife, Maxine; children, Richard (Lois) Carter, Jr. of Muskegon, David (Jan) Carter of Elkhart, IN and Debra (Mike) Levandoski of Muskegon; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The Funeral Liturgy will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Burial will be made in Mona View Cemetery. Visitation hours are 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Pachesny-Jend Funeral Home, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Visitation also Thursday at the church one hour prior to service. Memorial Contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Assoc.
