Richard Botbyl

Mr. Richard H. Botbyl, age 82, died Monday, March 8, 2010. He was born in Muskegon, MI on September 2, 1927 to John & Margie (DeYoung) Botbyl and served his country in the US Army in Germany & Korea. Mr. Botbyl had been the Owner & Operator of the Botbyl Radio-TV Shop for many years. He was a past president of the Muskegon Shuffleboard Club. Richard believed that any true friendship and family affection should be shared during life. SURVIVORS Sons, Brian (Kathy) Botbyl, Bradley Botbyl, both of Muskegon, Brent (Becky) Botbyl of TX; daughter, Bretta DeRouin of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren brother, Howard (Toni) Botbyl of N. Muskegon; several nieces and nephews; special, dear friend, Joyce Vanortwick-Rensberger of Whitehall; former wife, Carolyn Botbyl of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth. SERVICE Per his request, there will not be any services. MEMORIAL: White Lake Baptist Church or Families Manor.
