Rhonda Sue Fialek was a vigorous woman who had a heart as big as all outdoors. In fact, she loved the out-of-doors and all the time she spent enjoying nature with her family. Rhonda gave of herself to her husband and son and supported them in whatever they pursued. She delighted in life and lived it fully. Rhonda was born during a decade of radical change in America. Despite war protests and the deaths of key political leaders, the United States made gains in civil rights and the space race with the first moon walk. A true bright spot for Ronald and Sandra (Harris) Beegle of Muskegon, Michigan was the birth of their only child on February 13, 1965 - a lovely daughter they names Rhonda Sue. Her parents provided a secure and idyllic environment through their work and home which was located on 25 acres of land in Dalton Township. Rhonda's father was employed at Sealed Power and her mother worked as a nurse and nurse's aid at both Mercy Hospital and Hackley Hospital. Growing up in the wide expanse around her home, Rhonda was free to ride her own pony named Trigger. She especially loved to go riding with her dad, and the two of them often raced each other. Rhonda had a tender heart for other animals as well, and it wasn't unusual for her to bring home strays. This love of animals and nature remained with Rhonda throughout her life. During her school days, Rhonda attended McMillian Elementary and Laketon Junior High. She was active as a cheerleader for peewee football leagues in the area. In 1984, she graduated from Reeths Puffer High School and soon after met William Sietz. Rhonda came to know William because he was a hunting buddy of her father, and it wasn't long before they married. In 1986, Rhonda gave birth to their son, William Jr., who became the joy of her life. Rhonda called him Billy Joe, a name he allowed only his mother to call him. Rhonda and William were married for over three years, but the marriage did not last. Still, Rhonda remained very active in her son's life. She was involved in the PTA and often volunteered at school. Sometimes young Bill even volunteered his mom to do things at school, like making cookies. She encouraged Bill in his activities, never missing one of his football games except once when she had surgery. Rhonda was a very loving and supportive mother. In time, Rhonda made room in her heart for a man who became the love of her life. She had worked as a waitress and bartender at several area bars, and while she was working at Fisher's Pub in Holton she met Robert Fialek. They dated for eight months and were married on June 4, 1999. Rhonda was happiest when she was with Bob, and Bob truly loved Rhonda and was very good to her. It was his desire that she stop working when they married, so the two of them had a great deal of time to spend together. They shared a love for the outdoors and enjoyed going for rides on the two tracks in the Bitley, Michigan area where they first made their home. Though she had the opportunity and skill to go hunting, Rhonda never did. Her dad had taught her to be an excellent shot, but she only targeted tin cans. Rhonda loved animals too much to hunt them. Instead, she cared for dogs and cats round the family home. Rhonda's great joy was her family. She supported her son Bill in his decision to join the Coast Guard and was eagerly awaiting his upcoming marriage. Rhonda was so proud that Bill was to graduate from basic training on Saturday, December 23, 2006. It is a deep sorrow to the family that Rhonda died very suddenly and unexpectedly on December 21st. Rhonda's family and friends miss her more than words can express and cherish her in their hearts forever.
