Rev. Colman Gilliland, Sr., age 88, passed Saturday March 8, 2008 in Heartland of Whitehall. He was a retired Pastor of Jackson Hill Baptist Church for 35 years. He is survived by his only son, Colman (Geneva) Gilliland, Jr.; one daughter, Rebecca Dandridge. Service will be held Friday March 14, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, Rev. Ben Harris officiating. Visitation begins Thursday March 13 at Toombs Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment: Mona View Cemetery.
