Rena Goggin

Mrs. Rena Goggin, age 93, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008. She was born to Robert and Lettie (Smith) Barber on January 22, 1915 in Lake Ann, Michigan. On May 31, 1938 she married Roy G. Smrcina, he preceded her in death on July 20, 1958, she than married Dennis M. Goggin on November 27, 1965, he preceded her in death on August 3, 1996. Mrs. Goggin was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Altar Society and the American Red Cross. She is survived by her son, Lee (Karen) Smrcina of Muskegon, MI; 1 sister, Mrs. Vivian Kolkema of Muskegon, MI; 2 grandchildren, Leigh Smrcina of Charleston, SC and Stacey Nickel of Costa Mesa, CA; Step-daughter, Sr. Ann Sands Goggin, R.C. of Houston, TX and step-son, Dennis M. Goggin of Boulder, CO; Mrs. Goggin was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Monday 11:00 A.M. at the Young Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Page officiating.
