Reginald Veldman

Mr. Reginald B. Veldman, age 87, died Friday, May 2, 2014. He was born in Muskegon, MI on February 20, 1927 to Harvy & Evelyn (Stenberg) Veldman & married the former Donna Johnson on January 18, 1952. Mr. Veldman had been employed as a Steel Press Operator at Grand Haven Stamped Products until retiring. He was a longtime active member of Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport. SURVIVORS Son, Paul (Brenda) Veldman; daughters, Vicki (Mike) Fehler of Muskegon, Dawn (Dave) McCartney of Muskegon, Becky (Bruce) Rose of Harrietta, MI & Lori (Don) Hunter of Muskegon; 22 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Howard) Eggelton of Grand Rapids, Lynnie (Aldie) Carlson of Muskegon, Jeannie (Irwin) Hunt of FL; brother-in-law, Harold Koates of Spring Lake; numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna in 2000, brother, Timothy Ouellette & sister, Shirley Koates. SERVICE Saturday, May 10, 2014, 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport with Pastor Bruce Rose officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 6-8 PM at Bethel Baptist Church & Saturday, 1hour prior to the service at the church. MEMORIAL: Memorial fund of Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport.
