Rebecca Sue Umland, 73, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026.

She was born in Sandusky, Ohio on September 19th, 1952 to Marian Koch.

Becky was a radiant person who spread joy wherever she went. Known to many as "Grandma" or "Grandma Becky", she never hesitated to lend a hand to those who needed it, and was adored by her family and the community.

In her youth Becky was very active and adventurous, enjoying activities such and water skiing, snow skiing, and playing baseball and softball.

Becky retired from the US Postal Service in 2015 and spent her time helping to raise her grandchildren. Her favorite past time was watching them at their sporting events. She was their biggest fan, cheering loudly from the stands.

Becky is survived by her Daughters Dawn Osborne and Sara Umland, Son David Umland, as well as Grandsons Daniel and Mitchell Wilson, Maverick Osborne, Juni Umland, and Granddaughter Sawyer Umland. Great Grandchildren Paisley Crane and Brian Postma III. Bonus Grandchildren Kamren, Karsen, and Makenna Richards.

Brothers Glen(Barb), Lonnie(Amy) and Dee(Doris) Sieger, and Sister Cheri Boykin along with many nieces and nephews.

Waiting to greet her in Heaven along with her Mom Marian and Dad Earl, was her Granddaughter Ashley.

Her passing leaves a void felt by many. She will be forever missed.
