Rebecca L Kozyra

Rebecca Louise Kozyra, age 61, passed away at home early Sunday morning, October 15, 2017. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 24, 1956 to James and Mary Lou (Heikkila) Mickelsen. She married Stanley Kozyra on April 25, 1981 in Southfield, Michigan. They moved to Grand Haven in 1987 with their two children, Jennifer and Erik. Rebecca was a loving wife, wonderful mother and grandmother who cherished taking care of her family. She is greatly missed SURVIVORS Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Stanley; daughter, Jennifer (Craig) LeDuc of Fenton, Michigan; son, Erik Kozyra of Grand Haven; granddaughter, Brooklyn LeDuc; father, James Mickelsen of Chassell, Michigan; brothers, Thomas Mickelsen of Florida and Robert (Therese) Mickelsen of Redford, Michigan; sister-in-law, Maryanne (Brett) Swanson of Fenton, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Mickelsen. SERVICE Saturday, October 21, 2017, 11:00 am at the Clock Chapel - Grand Haven with Rev. Ken Shady officiating. Interment in Lake Forest Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the Clock Funeral Home - Grand Haven.
