Raymond Henry Walsworth

Mr. Raymond Henry Walsworth, age 89, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on September 19, 1927 to Henry & Elda (Smith) Walsworth and served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He married the former Marva Parker on April 30, 1949. Mr. Walsworth had been employed as a machinist for Teledyne Continental Motors for over 30 years until retiring. Raymond was a member of the VFW William J Beal Post #446 and loved fishing, hunting, the outdoors, his shuffle board league, woodworking, traveling and spending time with his family. SURVIVORS Daughters, Vonda (Harry) Larabee of Twin Lake & Vicki (Ron) Deal of Montague; sons, Michael (Pam) Walsworth of Twin Lake & Dan (Chris) Walsworth of Twin Lake; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marva; grandson, Joel; sisters, Lois Reynolds & Bernadine Dykema. SERVICE Monday, June 26, 2017, 11:00 am at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Mike Harrison-Haefner officiating and Military Honors. Interment in East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery. VISITATION Sunday, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Heartland Hospice.
