Raymond L. Vanderwal

VANDERWAL, MR. RAYMOND L. Spring Lake Raymond L. VanderWal, 82, of Spring Lake, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Brookhaven Medical Care Facility in Muskegon. He was born on Dec. 4, 1922 in Spring Lake to Peter and Grace DeWitt VanderWal and married Gertrude DeCook. Mr. VanderWal served his country in the US Army in WWII. He was a machinist at Challenge Machinery until retiring in 1984. He was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church. SURVIVORS Wife, Gertrude; son, Howard Beverly VanderWall of Grand Haven; 2 daughters, Jalaine Bacholl of Angola, IN and Susan Harry WoJahn of Ravenna; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister in law, Fannie VanderWall of Ferrysburg; best friend, Teddy; several nieces and nephews. Mr. VanderWal was preceded in death by his parents, 2brothers and 2 sisters. SERVICE Saturday, April 23, 2005, 3:00 PM at Lakeshore Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Muri officiating. Interment at Spring Lake Cemetery. VISITATION Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church. MEMORIAL: Lakeshore Baptist Church.
