Raymond J. Sochowski

Mr. Raymond J. Sochowski, age 75, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in Muskegon. He was born September 11, 1933 to Stanley and Katherine (Kuczapski) Sochowski, and resided in Muskegon his entire life. Mr. Sochowski was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean War, where he earned the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and the National Service Medal. He worked for Eagle Ottawa Leather Company for 26 years, before retiring in 1998. SURVIVORS include daughter, Diana Cass of Fruitport, 2 grandchildren, Heather (Jay) Huffman of Muskegon, and Caleb Cass of Fruitport; 3 great grandchildren, Arionna, Parker, and Gabrielle Huffman; sister, Dorothy Drakos of Grand Haven; niece, Kathy Maycroft; and nephew, George Drakos. According to his wishes there will be no services.
