Raymond Skoglund

Mr. Raymond D. Skoglund Sr., age 77, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011. He was born in Muskegon, MI on December 19, 1933 to Arthur & Elsie (Petersen) Skoglund and served his country during the Korean Conflict for the US Army. He married the former Mary Jo Apple on May 27, 1955. Mr. Skoglund had been a Service Engineer at Brunswick for 30 years until retiring in 1998 and former owner of Bob-Hi Lanes. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed bowling, fishing and yard work. But foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 55 years, Mary Jo; son, Raymond (Fiance Paula Eslick) Skoglund Jr.; daughters, Amy Jo (Michael) Terry, Jill (Brian) Wilson all of Muskegon; brother, Richard (Carla) Skoglund of Muskegon; sister, Amy Spence of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Sarah, Lisa, Jared, Renee, Kristen; 1 great grandchild; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur & Edward Skoglund; sisters, Lois Skoglund, Barbara Skoglund. SERVICE Thursday, April 7, 2011, 3:00 PM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev.
