Raymond P. Greene

GREENE, MR. RAYMOND PAUL, of Lake Odessa and Shelby Michigan. Our loved and respected father, Mr. Raymond P. Greene, passed away January 22, 2006. Ray was a decorated WWII veteran, lifelong educator who served the Ionia and Lakewood public school systems, and was active in numerous area civic and church organizations during his life. Ray enjoyed singing, bowling, golf, and spirited card games with family and friends. SURVIVORS Ray is survived by his children Leslie Martinez, Todd (Barb), Scott (Marietta), and Raymond (Jennifer); grandchildren Tanya, Michael, Jennifer, Amanda, Paul, and Randal; and great-grandchildren Jonah, Chase, and Elijah; and many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth on September 6, 2002 & a brother, Donald Greene. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, January 27, 2006, 2:00 PM at the Lakewood United Methodist Church, 10265 E. Brown Road (M-50), Lake Odessa, Michigan with Reverend Ward Pierce officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the Lakewood United Methodist Church.
