BROOKS, MR. RAYMOND F. Grand Haven Mr. Raymond F. Brooks, age 86, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at North Ottawa Care Center.He was born in Williamsville, Illinois on August 30, 1918 to Floyd and Grace Buckner Brooks and married the former Lucille Gilbert on June 15, 1944 in Muskegon. Mr. Brooks had been an electronics engineer employed at Walt Plant, WKBZ Radio Station, Heath Kit and Grand Transformer until retiring in 1980. He was a member of The Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Ham Radio Club of Grand Haven W8DEJ. SURVIVORS Wife, Lucille; son, Daniel Darlene Brooks of Grand Haven; 3 grandchildren, Noland, Clifton & Wendy Brooks; 2 great grandchildren, Celeste and Carolina Brooks; 2 sisters, Thelma Ludlow of Twin Lake, MI & Ethel Knight of Honor, MI; a brother, Melvin Rosie Brooks of Twin Lake; also many nieces nephews.Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his brother Robert Brooks. SERVICE 11:00 AM, Friday, February 5, 2005, at Clock Funeral Home, Grand Haven, with Pastor Tony Rodriguez officiating. Interment at Holton Oakwood Cemetery.
